Captain's Diary #5 - Botlane Gaming

Botlaner

Black Flag Sailors SNC

When I decided to create this Team, I invited Chwischi, who I know for over 8 years, to join. I was sceptical at first, since he was kinda stagnating in Black Manta at the end of that team. But he has completly suprised me and many other people with his recent performance. I'm really happy to be on a team with him again. His Support is Moppo. I knew Moppo as a Substitute for UBTenacity, where he won a silver medal at the 3rd Manta Cup. He came into my mind as a potential Support and he has proven himself over and over again.

Black Lotus Esports SNC

Fabianhgw was the Support on the last BLE Roster and I've always seen him as an engage supporter, with some really high highs and some low lows. I've only talked to him once or twice and don't really know what role he plays for his team. His counterpart is Shousakyu, who was introduced to me as ''the star adc'' of Black Lotus. So far my feeling about him was mixed, some really good games, but also some games where he just went invisible. Im excited to see how they perform this weekend.

Assassins & Greed SNC

When I started building the roster for Assassins & Greed, there was a different ADC, who was replaced  by IWL, aka I Wont Leash. I saw him play for the Hublibubs as the Star Player and was always impressed. In the Manta Cup v3 he became the Bronze-Medal Botlaner, aka 3rd in MVP Voting, despite his team going 1-3. In the SLE Split 4 he scored 2 Penta-, 2 Quadra- and 3 Triplekills. All in one 2 Game Series against a Team called Par for the Rift. Delf became the new Support for the Wacky Wraiths in Spring 2023. While his botlane mate usually didnt have the best games, Delf played really well and even when he was benched for LRAT, he still supported the Team with his great organisation.

Primordials

Ryshern is the ADC of Primordials. While I only played him once, I have seen him on stream many times. If I had to describe him, it would probably consistent and rarely he is the reason why his team loses. A really solid adc for a team that excells on Teamplay over individual skill. That being said, there is, or rather was, a clear Starplayer: Ahlefeldt. Ahlefeldt (Fenren in the Invitational) was the Jungler of Primordials for a long time. Winning Division 2 in Split 3 of the SLE, a Split where he was the Standout player, and becoming 3rd in the SLE Jungle MVP ranking of Split 4, where his Team finished 7. He was solowinning them many games and often times people wondered how good he could be if he played on a Title Contender. That being said, last split he didnt look as dominant as before, mainly cuz he swapped to Support. Im excited how that dynamic changes for the upcoming months.
