Captain's Diary #11 - Mixed Lotus

Mixed Lotus Assassins & Greed is not the only team to come back after the first Pirate Bay Invitational. The second Team is Black Lotus Esports. The team had some changes since the first edition in February. Brief History Black Lotus was founded in 2020 by Glumiux. Back then the team was built around Shousakyu. In early 2023 Shousakyu decided to take a break, causing the team to go through an identity change. In Fall 2023 Black Lotus decided to join the SLE, finishing 12th before losing to Good Chi Yang in Play-Offs. On the 1st of December Black Lotus joined Sanctuary and participated in the Manta Cup just a month later. They went to the Quarterfinals before losing out to Good Chi once more. In the first Pirate Bay they finished 3rd, support by their Coach (and now Support) Fatique. After another SLE Split that ended after one round of play-offs they are now back for the second Pirate Bay Invitational. Captain's Diary #10 - The Champions are back!

The Champions are back! The reigning Pirate Bay Invitational Champions Assassins & Greed SNC are back!!! After being eliminated by Snek Pack in the SLE they took a break. Will they be able to defend the title? Brief History While the Sailors were the first ''Homemade Sanctuary'' Team, founded by Linus via the community, Assassins & Greed were the first Community Team, meaning it was formed with the help of the Sanctuary Admins. The first Idea for this was in December 2023. The first ''building blocks'' were MAYB1E and TroubleBubble. Pretty quickly Delf was added to the lineup as the Support. At first long time SLE Veteran and former Black Manta Captain Kaliber was supposed to be the Botlaner, but stepped back. I Wont Leash came in and UBT Toplaner Jordi finished the lineup. Captain's Diary #9 - Our English Guest

Our English Guest Our only non-Sancutary Team are the SlimOdds. A Team that is known to many that play/watch the SLE and that has an English Topside and a Scandinavian Botlane. Brief History SlimOdds was originally founded in 2019 by Midlaner and Team Captain Gjny. The Roster went through numerous changes and at this point he is the only founding member left. When the Roster entered the SLE is Fall 2023 for the first time, their current Toplaner Banerex and their current Support General Decoy were already part of the Team. During the 5th SLE Split they finished 16th, making play-offs were they lost to Regular Season Champion Reval Lynx. When they came back for Split 6, they changed their Jungler to Willisang, who has stuck with the team ever since. Their ADC Stooshe is not available during the Pirate Bay and is replaced with Ryry, who is ''an angel in stepping in''. Relation with the Sailors The two teams never met in any competetive games. Captain's Diary #8 - Good Bye to Snek Pack's Hero

Good bye to Snek Pack's Hero The next team on our list is Snek Pack SNC, another Team of the Sanctuary community. Another Team that didn't participate in the first Pirate Bay Invitational. Brief History 7 Years ago Evoh, Saibottob and Sushiekiller decided to play together competetivly. In their early days they played in the German University League for the ''Kieler Robben'' (Ger. Seals of Kiel). That was also the time when Cupcake joined the team. Later on they joined the Gaming Community SFD-Gaming, where they found their Coach BeardedMonke, under their new name ''Snek Pack''. They were not really happy with SFD and in late 2022 they decided to leave. A few months later, together with their long-time rival Black Manta, they founded Sanctuary, in March 2023. Captain's Diary #7 - Wacky Wraiths' last Dance?

Wacky Wraiths' last Dance The first team of the second PBI that we will take a close look at is Wacky Wraiths SNC. The Team consists of KayzMayz in the Toplane, Robbery in the Jungle, Lina in the Midlane, Usejin in the Botlane and LRAT on Support. Brief History Wacky Wraiths was formed in May 2022 following the second Manta Cup. Robbery, Lina and Usejin played in a ''One Tournament Team'' called ''Fünf Freunde'' (Ger. Five Friends). The Team had some minor roster Swaps before they decided to Split the Team into Wacky Wraiths Y&X in Spring 2023. Lina formed an X Team with Spoeka&Darius while Robbery & Usejin kept the Y part. At first they were trying out different people before, in August 2023, LRAT, Buettner and KayzMayz joined. Later, in November 2023, Wacky Wraiths joined Sanctuary. Captain's Diary #6 - Pirate Bay Invitational 2

Pirate Bay Invitational 2 We are creeping close towards the second Pirate Bay Invitational. The last one happend ~2,5 months ago. Since then the four Teams of the first edition played (and got eliminated) in the SLE. Now we are back with a brand new format and rule set: The Teams Every Team that participated in the first Pirate Bay Invitational got an invite to this one aswell. Black Flag Sailors SNC, my team, of course will play again. In addtion the reigning Champion Assassins & Greed SNC and the Bronze-Medalists Black Lotus Esports SNC decided to come back. Only the danish side of Primordials declined the invitation. The three new teams include the two Sanctuary Teams (who are playing in the SLE against each other right now) Snek Pack SNC and Wacky Wraiths SNC and SlimOdds. The Championpools Prior to the start of the tournament each team had to chose 25 different champions they want to pick in the PBI. Those 25 Champions had to be designated to the 5 players, meaning each player...

Captain's Diary #5 - Botlane Gaming

Botlaner Black Flag Sailors SNC When I decided to create this Team, I invited Chwischi, who I know for over 8 years, to join. I was sceptical at first, since he was kinda stagnating in Black Manta at the end of that team. But he has completly suprised me and many other people with his recent performance. I'm really happy to be on a team with him again. His Support is Moppo. I knew Moppo as a Substitute for UBTenacity, where he won a silver medal at the 3rd Manta Cup. He came into my mind as a potential Support and he has proven himself over and over again. Black Lotus Esports SNC Fabianhgw was the Support on the last BLE Roster and I've always seen him as an engage supporter, with some really high highs and some low lows. I've only talked to him once or twice and don't really know what role he plays for his team. His counterpart is Shousakyu, who was introduced to me as ''the star adc'' of Black Lotus.
